KMCT’s e learning project has been awarded by “India CSR” in Education Innovation. The award as given by actor and businessmen Mr. Akbar Khan and union minister Mr. Ramdas Athwale in the event at Sahara Hotel on 26th May, 2017.

On 27th August, 2016 KMCT’s EDP project has been awarded by India CSR for implementing Innovative project with the vision of creating entrepreneur form less privileged.
On 1st Sep, 2016 KMCT has received two National awards “Best Education Improvement” and “Best Environment Sustainability”

KMCT has received national level award for its achievements in providing alternative livelihood options to most needy tribal communities of Palghar taluka.
Cycle for education project is initiated to motivate the students acquire their Secondary education. 16 Students have been benefited from Khaire village in Palghar who walk 7 to 10 KM to attain school, these students belong to 5th to 10th standard. To monitor the cycles and usage of the same, a committee has been setup and Cycle bank has been formed to manage the cycles after the student has passes 10th standard.
Exposure visit of the farmers was conducted to different farms so that they know different techniques of farming. This visit aimed at helping the farmers to know the various livelihood activities that can be taken up by them. By witnessing all of that they also spoke to farmers and heard their experience.
After declaring 3 Anganwadis as "Malnourished free", we have initiated this project in 26 Anganwadis in Manor Beat. This project is reaching out to 810 children between the age group of 3 to 6 years, Anganwadi sevika and madatnis have been trained to prepare the supplementary ladoos that help the child grow with necessary nutrients.
KMCT conducted preventive health check-up camp at Kude and Khaire village in PalgharTaluka in collaboration with Bhakti Vedanta Hospital, it involved physician check up, blood sugar and ophthalmic check up. We have screened 203 patients and 5 have got operated for cataract.
Four year ago 5 students saw a dream to make this car of their own they launched a Prahar racing car. Even after knowing the risk being involved in achieving success KMCT supported students financially. It was a proud movement for KMCT as well as for Swaraswati College of Engineering when the Prahar Racing car represented India and ranked 6th at international level in 2017.
An exposure was given to ASTARC associate to participate in noble cause: “Blood Donation”. In collaboration with KEM Hospital two camps were organized at our Head Office and Pelhar plant. Total 133 units of blood were collected. KEM blood bank has thanked all the donors.
On 29th March, our “Eradication of Malnourishment Project” was felicitated by Palghar Zilla Parishad. CDPO Ms. Surekha mentioned that “KMCT has implemented this project and within three months they made three anganwadis Malnourishment Free, children’s weight has increased by 400gm". Now all 160 children are enjoying good health and enjoying pre-school learning.
SHG women of Vehloli and Vangan pada from Palghar District were trained for making Christmas snacks. 25 women prepared five different types, they received an order of preparing 78 Kgs of snacks. Through this activity they have received a good amount of profit.
Our 6th E-learning Lab is inaugurated at Z.P School Kosbard, this project aims to create computer literacy among the tribal students of Palghar District. The students will be taught MS word, Excel,PowerPoint, paint and internet through the classes that will be conducted by our teacher on regular basis. The program was graced by Dr. Prashant Narnavare (Collector of Palghar District), Mr. Pradip Ghorpade (Block Development Officer of Palghar Taluka) and many other government officials.
Rural youth need constant guidance to help them identify the potential in them and use it to the fullest. KMCT has helped 11 youth from Khaire to take forward their skills and form a banjo party group. Through KMCT we provided them with few instruments so that they can take orders for Ganesh, Navratri and wedding festivals. A training on financial literacy is also given to them.
This project is initiated to prevent children from suffering eyesight issues in future, it caters to the Zilla Parishad schools in Vasai, Palghar and Wada Taluka. 4030 students have been screen in 18 Government schools and 191 students are provided with spectacles. Teachers are briefed on the importance of proper nutrients so that they can guide parents to improve their food patterns.
